10 Wonderful PLACES To Visit This Winter (Europe Edition)

Winter is a great time for travelling. Not many people travel in winter and that brings so many benefits. Firstly, the places you’re visiting will be significantly less crowdy than in summer, which is a peak season in most of the destinations.

Since my last blog post about where to go in autumn has immense success, I decided to make a winter edition. This time, all these places are in Europe. If this blog post will be as successful as before, I will definitely make an US and Asia version too.

But firstly, I’ll tell you something about travelling in winter. It’s harder to pack for a trip in this (although magical) but crispy cold season. You will definitely need a coat or two in all of these destinations, as well as an umbrella and some warm tights.

The World Of Makeup Shaming

The World Of Makeup Shaming

Doing makeup is a fun and creative way of expressing yourself while embracing your natural features. Creating makeup looks and getting inspired by a social media tutorial is pretty normal nowadays. Sharing your looks with your friends on Facebook, followers on Instagram or creating blog or YouTube tutorials for others to benefit from has never been easier and more normalised.

Some consider makeup as art form, some wore it daily to school, work or just to go shopping. However, as a thing becomes normalised the voices of those who don’t approve become louder. There are multiple groups, chats or reddit threads on makeup shaming. Some come from men. Their objective is mostly that women shouldn’t wear makeup to be more beautiful, because it is deceitful. However, more shockingly, some of these incentives come from women, also avid makeup enthusiasts. They are more into criticizing others for creating supposedly ugly looks that they could never wear.

Analysing the both stances below.

The Science Behind New Year’s Resolutions

The Science Behind New Year’s Resolutions

The desire to accomplish something or to change an undesired trait or behaviour is strong by the end of the year, or actually by the end of a cycle one feel most comfortably with. For me it is my birthday and start of a new school year.

To stop smoking is one of the most common resolution along with saving money, getting healthier or just exercising more in general.

Even though all these are undoubtedly very desirable objectives, 80% of resolutions fail by February.

And here’s why.

Christmas Snowmen Biscuits Recipe

Christmas Snowmen Biscuits Recipe

Winter is one of my favourite season because it’s so calm and peaceful. It’s the season of baking, enjoying the family and getting together at the dinner table. Part of it is of course devoted to Christmas, a holiday mostly celebrated by Christians. However, Christmas become one of those holidays that everyone celebrates. Some for presents, some for more spiritual things,

Cakes are kind of a necessity for Christmas. After all it’s all logical. Our ancestors needed to put on more weight during winter-time, otherwise they would fell ill way more quickly. And what’s better for that than a piece of sugary cake?

You can tweak this recipe by adding stevia instead of sugar, or other alternatives. However, it would be best if the alternative had similar characteristics.
